September 8 - Celebrating 25 Years of NAWBO in Central Iowa

It's been a while since a group of women business owners—members of The Roundtable—voted to affiliate with their peers around the country and become a chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). A celebration of the past and the future for women business owners takes place on September 8 and the entire business community is invited.

The 5 to 7 p.m. gathering at Jasper Winery in Des Moines includes networking, sharing of WBO stories, and building on ideas for business growth. More than a dozen door prizes and auction items, valued at up to $975 will be part of the evening. These include a six-month membership and one-on-one strategy sessions from business-builder MoxieTalk.com, a $425 gardening consultation and tree from Perennial Gardens, a $125 health and nutrition counseling session from Fork in the Road, and many other unique products and services.

Hors d'oeuvres and dessert will be provide, along with wine and beer tasting and a cash bar. Fee is $10 if registered by September 2; $15 after that date. My question is, if you cerantctod Chlamydia and/or Gonnorhea a couple years ago but didn't know, how do they treat them? Can they be treated with antibiotics or do you have to go through a more serious treatment?[]

To avoid re-infection, any sexual patrners should be treated too. Treating gonorrhea is advocated for patients being treated for chlamydia, and vice versa (50% have both infections together)A urine test and a swab test collecting fluid from the vagina may be done for detecting chlamydia and gonorrhea as both STDs may co-exist together.

Jen SeidererErin, the binder is a great idea and would cetniarly be a lot easier than me scanning in all of those same documents. I'm so paper-averse, ha ha. The PDF file got so big it took forever to open on my phone anyways, so I may just go the binder route. They have apps to do this but they communicate with the internet (which makes me nervous when you're talking about medical records) and/or your doctor's office has to be set up to send and receive the data. My office is still moving from paper to computer charts so it will be a while before they are comfortable with e-sharing. Might be another reason to look for another doctor.
